A Lamborghini hybrid? That's what Lambo says it's pursuing in a drive to lower emissions by more than third in the next six years.

It's a big step. When it comes to these exotic racing machines, performance has always been uncompromised by, well, basically anything. Now Lambo says it will decrease emissions by 35% by the year 2015. It says it has already made a big step forward with a its Gallardo LP 560-4, which was introduced last year and saw an 18% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions. CO2 gets the most blame for global warming.

I wonder how long it will take for someone to make up the hybrid "premium" in gas savings?:p

Supercars are endangered unless they find a way to burn a lot less gas. Most are European and must meet strict CO2 emissions.

Seems silly that a car that is selling in the few thousands per year needs to meet any standard, what does it really matter? :confused:

Oh yeah, no safe threshold level of excess has been found in lab animals, this can't allowed. :rolleyes:
