Prius 10 (http://www.toyota.com/prius-hybrid/) Daox 05-08-2009, 11:11 AM Wheres the Prius 1? xcel 05-08-2009, 12:20 PM Hi Daox: ___Good question! Kind of like the elusive Jackalope ;) ___Good Luck ___Wayne Shan 05-08-2009, 02:12 PM I tried to look for one(via the website) and it keeps referring me to the 2009 Prius! :( Still 22K for the Prius III...........Honda will have competition! Let the price wars begin.! fuzzy 05-08-2009, 02:22 PM I tried to look for one(via the website) and it keeps referring me to the 2009 Prius! :( Try putting in a zip code for a different region, outside of SET. MaxxMPG 05-08-2009, 02:34 PM I checked earlier today (NY area) and the link takes me to the 2010 Prius. Maybe they are in the process of migrating the link and pages and it will be completed by early next week? Although Safety Connect shows as an option package under features & specs, it doesn't show up when you choose to build your own and check what you'd want. Considering the official stance that it's not coming until late summer, this is understandable, and the Prius pages I saw all looked like they're referencing the 2010 model. msirach 05-08-2009, 04:55 PM Clear your cache! I tried to look for one(via the website) and it keeps referring me to the 2009 Prius! :( Still 22K for the Prius III...........Honda will have competition! Let the price wars begin.! xcel 05-08-2009, 08:26 PM Prius-III package -I details follow. I mean future details ;) Model # Highlight Features MSRP of $21,000 Prius I 1221 Available late 2009 – Prius I will lack cruise control, Touch Tracer Display, EV Mode, rear window wiper, and other features to be announced later. ___Good Luck ___Wayne Sledge 05-15-2009, 12:06 PM So I emailed the local Toyota dealer about a Prius IV with the solar/sunroof and nav and a few other goodies. They gave me a price that was $1700 under MSRP. They said they would have them in stock around late May/early June. I want to test drive one before I plunk down money. I really would like to keep the HCH2 but the lack of folding rear seat is driving me nuts. I'm not asking to upgrade to an SUV mind you. Just a bit more flexibility in the cargo space. And I've already looked at the HI2 and was not impressed. xcel 05-15-2009, 12:51 PM Hi Sledge: ___Moving from the HCH-II to a Prius-III will be in upgrade in many regards but it is not the holy grail. There are still a few Toyota quirks they forgot to design out of the –III but it is a lot nicer car now than the -II will ever be and with the deals Toyota dealers are already planning on them, it seems like a reasonable price if the dealerships stick to those deals without the add-on non-sense they are so prone to do early on in a vehicles life-cycle. ___Good Luck ___Wayne MaxxMPG 05-15-2009, 01:23 PM ... it seems like a reasonable price if the dealerships stick to those deals without the add-on non-sense they are so prone to do early on in a vehicles life-cycle. The Prius-III is what I'd buy if a tree or a truck squashed my current car, and I'd consider one of those dealer-perk add-ons if it happened to be the "Pitbull with Lipstick Decor Package" :) http://www.cleanmpg.com/photos/data/501/redneck_prius.jpg The Toyota dealers around here are ruthless and you don't want to visit one if you really need a car. Your only hope is to go in there acting like you're doing them a favor by taking a car off their hands, and then walk out and wait for them to call you back. I am considering adding a 'III with Pkg 4 to my driveway some time later this year, after the Safety Connect goes live. But I will be keeping my Chevy so I can play severe hardball with the dealer as I have no specific need for the new car. If the deal happened to work, I could use the Chevy as a winter car (go ahead and hit me, it's paid off and insured to the hilt) as this would mean I don't have to cringe on those cold starts when the HSD is drinking like a senator. Right Lane Cruiser 05-15-2009, 01:33 PM Like a senator?? :biglol: psyshack 07-12-2009, 12:45 PM I've had opportunity to see several new PIII's on the road over the last week. The PIII-V is a much better looking car than the others by far. I had no idea the 17" wheel package would do sooooo much for it. It did not look like it was rolling on thread bobbins from a sewing machine. It had a stance and presence that looked good! The new front bumper cover is fantastic. For a split second the car took on a Z350 stance and look. "I"M PIII! Hear me humm." I also almost like the dash now. The two tier center console blended in with the dash do wonders for the interior. Makes the cyclops squinted eye look almost acceptable. Seems to flow better. IMHO I honestly think the PIII looks better than the Power Ranger, Clarity inspired, busy dash want to be Insight. It's amazing what some metal, rubber and plastic can do for a car. In the looks dept. :) vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
