VW is having a fuel ecomony competition. I think it is just for 09's I haven't looked at it too closely yet. It may be only for 15 miles. If that is the case, we may be able to take a "test drive" and compete.

Only fifteen miles, with no round trip requirement? How many locations can we think of where the car should be able to coast all, or nearly all, the way?

I have a 20 mile stretch in mind, with a single stop sign in the middle that might require a short pulse to get rolling again. Unless the TDI display pegs at 99.9, someone should be getting a picture of a score in the multiple hundreds.
