View Full Version : Maybe the Dumbest Spammer we have ever had
Chuck 05-04-2009, 09:20 AM Several days ago, LevitraES (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/member.php?u=10064) joined. His homepage was to advertise the same so I banned him. Still, he visited THREE TIMES yesterday. This just seems so incredibly stupid, although I hold the possibility he could be desperately hoping someone would see his homepage while lurking.
What a complete loser.
MaxxMPG 05-04-2009, 12:18 PM Total loser. If it weren't so time consuming to keep up with these spammers, it'd be fun to leave the profile intact and change the link of the male enhancement product to point to - http://www.toyota.com/vehicles/minisite/prius/
Then edit each spam they post to read - "I was having trouble pleasing her until I showed her what's under the hood. Hybrid Synergy Drive. At 50mpg I can drive all night and not worry about running out of energy." I'm not sure Toyota would appreciate the double entendre in the endorsement, but it would be a great way to show these insecure spammers how they can contribute to society.
Chuck 05-04-2009, 12:23 PM If I had the authority to change the homepage of that spammer, I would.
In my dreams, I'd infect spammers with malware that spams the spammer until even in their single-digit IQ mind they leave us alone.

As someone who does side work debugging home and office computers to remove the malware/bugs/etc, I have the same level of frustration. I too think it'd be fun to rig the computers of these spammers to have it commit some sort of criminal mischief so that the spammers are hauled away in chains. But after entertaining the thought for a few seconds, I remember that this would reduce me to their level, and would take time that I could otherwise use helping people and earning money. And I decide to look at the bright side - these morons are helping me to make extra cash by inventing ways to send infected links over email or IM messages.
The male-enhancement products are a boon for ER doctors, as I read in an online article that most contain a blend of herbs and substances that usually cause cardiac arrhythmias, infarctions (heart attacks), strokes, and other sudden life-threatening conditions. Too bad the spammers can't be held liable for this loss of life or livelihood...
Chuck 05-04-2009, 03:07 PM Another mentally-challenged spammer: ddddyyyy (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/member.php?u=10113)
Joined five days ago, yet keeps coming back trying to post from Banland.
With a name like that, and a profile that suggests he came from three different parts of the world, does that sound odd?

Perhaps they listened to that old song about the ant thinking he can move the rubber tree plant using only high hopes.
Well, trying repeatedly to post from Banland should keep them busy for a while...
Chuck 05-07-2009, 08:52 PM Several days ago, someone joined with a nickname of a male-enhancement product. His homepage was to advertise the same so I banned him. Still, he visited THREE TIMES yesterday. This just seems so incredibly stupid, although I hold the possibility he could be desperately hoping someone would see his homepage while lurking.
What a complete loser. This guy decided to join with at least a half dozen socks, so Sean just blocked his IP and forget about spamming us.
Elixer 05-07-2009, 10:18 PM This guy decided to join with at least a half dozen socks
He must keep very warm in the winter.:D
Chuck 05-07-2009, 10:23 PM He must keep very warm in the winter.:DHis IP was from Russia. ;)
Chuck 05-14-2009, 03:42 PM LevitraES (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/member.php?u=10064) was banned May 6, yet he came lurking today. His profile has been stripped so it's impossible for him to sell anything.
Makes you wonder how he was smart enough to join in the first place. :p
MaxxMPG 05-14-2009, 04:13 PM According to the manufacturer, one of the most common side effects of Levitra is headache. But what they don't mention is that the term "headache", as applied in the disclaimer for the medicine, is merely an adjective used to describe the jerks who post millions of scam messages in an attempt to sell counterfeit pharmaceuticals.
It looks like our comrade LevitraES is certainly a headache for web administrators as well as any victims who think they're going to get actual medicine from this clown. If anything, they'd get a bottle of Flintstone vitamins. I hear the Bamm Bamm's are really potent. :D
PaleMelanesian 05-14-2009, 04:16 PM At least he's busy trying to post from banland here, rather than harassing some other forum. He's getting nowhere, but using up his time doing it. We're helping make the world a better place.
Damionk 05-15-2009, 12:32 AM Mmmm... Bamm Bamm...
Wait...that sounds bad.
fuzzy 05-15-2009, 01:39 AM It would probably be far too much work to set up, but ...
Wouldn't it be nice for the banned spammers to see their own posts displayed normally, so they couldn't tell directly that their posts were removed?
(This wouldn't work if they browsed as a guest or under another registered name.)
Chuck 05-15-2009, 12:21 PM Google indicated carlerry (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/member.php?u=10240) had spammed a number of sites in the last day and still trying to spam us from Banland. :p

Having recently watched "Blazing Saddles" again within the last week, I am reminded of the citizens of Rock Ridge who made a duplicate town for Hedley Lamarr's crew to destroy. Wouldn't it be fun to create a separate forum grouping of "spammers and trollers" and move their content over there, and then redirect their logins to lock them into that group only. Then we could occasionally go in there and torment them, or at least marvel at their insanity. And they could spam each other and eventually go broke buying fake watches or pills or trying to earn 100k a year by working at home in their pajamas. ...Wait, that is what they are doing now by spamming. :)
But unlike the old West with its unlimited frontiers, the web's bandwidth costs money and the SpamCentral group would use some of the site's overall bandwidth. So the best approach is the current one - ban them and then laugh as they repeatedly try to spam us from the great beyond.
Right Lane Cruiser 05-15-2009, 01:55 PM Unless we pepper that area with a tripple helping of ads for revenue? :D
(Unfortunately, I don't think VBulletin would let me section things off quite that completely.)
Chuck 05-18-2009, 09:13 AM Our latest Dumb Spammer of the Day: pppppqqqqqq (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/member.php?find=lastposter&f=3)
I'd never found him with his unique name! :p

What a complete loser.I can't believe at the time of this posting, LevitraES (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/member.php?u=10064) is attempting to change his profile from BanLand....how was he smart enough to join to start with?
Oh well, it's taking time from him spamming other places.
Chuck 05-22-2009, 09:42 AM This morning, *****OnlineTrue (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/member.php?u=10277) is lurking from Banland.
No links, etc to whatever he is selling - must be bored stiff. :p

This guy attempted to rejoin with a very obvious alias and banned before he could do anything.
This loser either has a severe drug addiction or has a single-digit IQ yet has enough nominal intelligence to join.
All his contact information is removed or redirected to nowhere, but keeps coming back.
I just have to :biglol:
There are countless other places he could successfully spam, yet he is fixated on coming back to a place he is so well-known he will be banned for he gets a chance to post.
He has a really bad personality disorder.

Chuck 05-27-2009, 09:39 AM One thing that makes is hard to understand spammers is unlike other marketing, we foot the bill. :(
We pay for the site, the networks, the bandwidth - everything.

There was a recent spam attack the past couple of weeks promoting a particular product - two of the eight+ last night.
Finally made sense on this apparent insanity.
Let's say they want to increase the visibility of their site in Google....they just link their spam site to other sites so Google moves the ratings of their spam site to the top of the page. Even if it's on CleanMPG a few moments, that's long enough GoogleBots will reward the spammers. Fortunately, it's not that hard to search and ban spammers before they strike. Typically, they join a bunch of sites in daylight, then strike in the middle of the night....you can Google a nickname for that for the last 24 hours. Their profile often has tip offs that blows their cover, like they come from three totally different parts of the globe. Some of the things in spammer's profiles are just comical.

Anyway, the name of that particular product the spammers have been promoting is now in the dirty word filter.

MumakilKance (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/member.php?u=10836) is hoping on the 5th visit since being banned he will find a way to spam about Nike shoes or the like.
Is is addiction, stupidity or what?
Chuck 08-16-2009, 07:39 PM What ever is driving this hopeless devil, he's at it for the 6th time....he must be overdosed on the drugs he's trying to spam.

Is is addiction, stupidity or what?A week later - this spammer is lurking yet again hoping to unban himself.
It's entertaining to watch the brain dead.
Chuck 09-06-2009, 04:54 PM Well, there MumakilKance goes again! :p
Chuck 09-06-2009, 07:05 PM Three times today!
Five weeks after he joined he is making a heroic effort to post spam for two seconds and give his site more visibility on Google.
Twenty visits so far?
:biglol::biglol::biglol::biglol::biglol::biglol:
Chuck 09-07-2009, 09:24 AM Note to MumakilKance:
We know who you are
Changing locations, etc won't work
You have been looking at your user profile - must be embarrassed at your avitar http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/image.php?u=10836&dateline=1251004210
It's actually worse: you joined on 07/29/09
Since you were probably spamming to give your med site more hits on Google, maybe you should stop coming here so we will forget you....changing your own medication might help. :p
If you insist on returning, we will still laugh at you. :biglol:
Damionk 09-07-2009, 09:31 AM Since you were probably spamming to give your med site more hits on Google, maybe you should stop coming here so we will forget you....changing your own medication might help. :p
Maybe you should put CleanMPG as his website. That way he will just boost our hits. Or, even better my Facebook group, Hoosier Hypermilers.
(Hey, it is a spam thread. LOL:D)
Chuck 09-07-2009, 05:45 PM I live in America and see multi-ethnic names, but spammers have some intangible way of combining firstname-last name that matches worse than a color-blind bachelor matches his clothes. :o
In other words, weird screen names just scream "I'm a spammer!"
They work so hard for so little to be so stupid....some nut wards must be spam sites.

He keeps coming in back several times daily. Conclusions:
Even coming back banned is profitable somehow, but I have no clue
This spammer should get fired. :p
Damionk 09-14-2009, 03:17 PM For all we know he is using some kind of software that automatically logs him in several times daily.
Chuck 10-06-2009, 06:44 PM For all we know he is using some kind of software that automatically logs him in several times daily.MumakilKance (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/member.php?u=10836) is now completely banned after about 50 visits.
A decade ago, the first spam I received was a dumpload of the XXX stuff.
From that experience and their persistance, I get a picture of their compulsion to be like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6LPdZneWIo)(not faked BTW) and hands at the keyboard that are out of control like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9ihKq34Ozc).
Sorry, hundreds have been banned, some even come back and their behavior suggests being severely disturbed.
Hi Chuck:
___One of the better spammers )not to the site) as of late an IRS E-Mail saying I owe or are due a refund. Log into www.... to recover your over payment or pay your past due amounts
___You would think with an actual internet location that a site and its owner would be taken out by the country of origins police force in hours to days instead of being able to continue on with their destructive mischief?
___Good Luck
___Wayne
