View Full Version : Different Auto Attitudes in 10-20 Years?

I'd like to see some of the opinions expressed early this decade save for posterity (and some good laughs :p ) It's likely the price at the pump will steadly go up and up over the next decade or two and there won't be cheap alternatives around the corner. I suspect we will hear a lot less of gas-guzzler love such as this:

"You hate it because you can't afford it...."
"I need something that big to feel safe..."
"I'm not driving a girly car...."
"You need it to impress the girls or co-workers...."
"I'm always towing stuff...."
"You fuel-sippers going 65mph on the freeway are causing the people behind you to waste gas" (this one really hisses me off)I don't think gas-guzzlers and the people who love them will completely go away, but I'm going to predict they will start to get lonely.
