JusBringIt 04-03-2009, 09:04 PM Interesting. Didn't expect the honda Fit to beat the accent. The difference there though is the depreciation it seems. If you plan on selling after five years then it would seem a better plan. I guess we should account for the possibility of the car being totaled. The cost comparison table might work better if a yearly analysis was done instead of a 5 year. You might want to keep your car longer or you may end up getting into an accident in the first year of ownership. abcdpeterson 04-03-2009, 09:36 PM Pontiac Vibe #7 :) Blackbelt 04-04-2009, 08:45 AM Interesting that the 10 most expensive cars to drive are all GERMAN. kendan 04-04-2009, 09:55 AM I found it interesting that the only 2 US cars were GM's and that the only other company with 2 cars on the list was Toyota. If you check the 10 lowest prices, that list is a little different...the Smart 4 two, for instance, is on the lowest price list but not cheapest to drive. abcdpeterson 04-04-2009, 10:41 AM I found it interesting that the only 2 US cars were GM's and that the only other company with 2 cars on the list was Toyota. Actualy if you think about who makes what, you could say GM has no cars on the list. Aveo is - GM Daewoo (the South Korean subsidiary of General Motors) Vibe is - a joint venture between General Motors and Toyota (more Toyota then GM) kendan 04-04-2009, 11:34 AM Good point, I sometimes forget that some US cars have foreign origins. (Like my old Plymouth Champ, made by Mitsubishi!:o) Of course, in todays global economy, the parts for most cars can come from anywhere(Brazil, China, Canada, Korea, etc. etc. etc., ad nauseum!). vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
