I am sent some of the darrndest things sometimes :D

Welcome to the Honda Insight’s Accessories Game - “The HyperMiler Road”!

We want to make the process of learning about the Honda Genuine Accessories available for the new Insight as easy as possible for you so we have developed this game-based activity to help familiarize you with the Insight Accessory line up and some of the features and benefits of those accessories.

Remember, the product knowledge you gain here will help you present accessories to your customer as a necessary part of the vehicle, which will help generate more profits for you and your dealership...

I sure would like to have a spin within the sales module to play “HyperMile Road” myself ;)

I'm glad that Honda is embracing the concept of hypermiling instead of echewing it. :)

Another green-in-name-only site chose to have a war on hypermiling and they are well on the road to being a ghost town. ;)

Does this mean Honda is offering aeromods as aftermarket accessories for the Insight?

I achieved 62 and change MPG with only one fuel stop on that game and 0 incorrect answers. It was pretty fun, and just like the press folks vs Wayne, my coworkers got between 44 and 55 MPG on the game.

Very nice. The automakers are a lot more accepting of the "Hypermile" term now. Hats of to Wayne for getting it in Websters!

I can't seem to find a link to this feature, but if I understand the intent of this sales module, is it to educate the salesman on how to point out the energy effecincy (can't spell this morning) of the vehicle to potential customers? When my salesman was helping me with the sale of my car, he didn't know squat aabout the vehicle. (okay, insert car salesman quips here)

Honestly, the engineers did an awsome job putting the HCH - II toggether. The marketing team needs a serious upgrade. They need to provide at least basic techniques to the customer so that they can at least get a start while the new owner is still enamored with the new car.

Just my opinion.

Thanks,

Bob W
