So here I am happily pulsing and dwl in the right lane (hill, flat, hill, flat) when I noticed up ahead there was a bus at the side looking like it was about to pull out.
I check my rearview, look back and see a VW about a 150m(approx 450ft)behind behind me. I figure I had enough room to switch over as I was doing the psl of 40. I was getting near the top of the hill so I held a constant and getting ready to go into a FAS.
So signal on, and I switched lanes a few seconds later, the bus pulls out just like I thought.
Checking my rearview mirror again I see the jetta approaching at a very unsafe rate. I felt like my car was not moving the way this guy was coming up. I'm pulling by the bus at this time (my turn which is a left turn is coming up in about 250meters). I see the other driver throw his hands up in the air as If I'm impeding him. I smile to myself...I guess that was kind of evil but he was coming up a hill and had two years to get back down to the speed limit before catching up to me.
I then see him do the stupidest thing, even more stupid than almost ran into my bumper.
He goes into the turning only lane to try to pass me!:eek:
Same time I look ahead and there's a Mercury Milan in the turning lane going in the other direction :D.
A big smile endeared my face as I look behind to see him throw his hands up in the air again and beep his horn at the Mercury milan :eyebrow:
By this time two more cars in the lane I'm in take his spot as I go into the left turning lane. I was waiting for a cop to pull him over, but He probably already got his fair share of disappointment with that episode.
So after all that work, he finally passed me on the right as I make my turn onto the next street at about 10mph in the left lane. Yeah, all that aggressive driving netted him a total loss of about 5 seconds for the 1/2 second he was trying to gain illegally.
