2010 Honda Insight-II -- 41 mpgUS combined on the 08 EPA.
I hope the price comes down a tad but at least our Australian neighbors get a chance to see it. -- Ed.
Honda Australia stole the march on its rivals yesterday by lifting the wraps off its newest green car, the Insight petrol-electric hybrid hatch.
Although still more than a year away from hitting Australian showrooms, the Insight is one of several hybrids and electric cars that will be unveiled at the show from car makers Toyota, Mitsubishi and Subaru.
Honda Australia senior director Lindsay Smalley said the Insight was the first of several new Honda hybrids that would be available to Australian customers.
"We're looking at a Jazz hybrid and a new CR-Z sportscar hybrid to join our Civic hybrid," he said.
The company has already sold more than 10,000 Insights in Japan since the car went on sale there two weeks ago… http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,25082969-662,00.html
