Hi All:
___I was looking at automotive news around the country tonight and came across a strange set over at MSNBC … It looks like someone fell asleep at the switch because these 2 headlines were almost 3 years old! It was neat considering what we know today vs. what was reported almost 3 years ago … Look at Prius topping expectations news headline and then GM touting Fuel Cel’s will beating the hybrids … After 3 years and well over $1 Billion GM spent on FCV’s over the years, I still don’t know if they get it yet or not? All the while Toyota is kicking everybody’s teeth in with HSD equipped whatever …
Today’s headlines as seen on Oct. 31, 2003 ;)

Toyota hybrid car sales top forecasts.
Automaker expects to sell 76,000 Prius cars in a year. (http://msnbc.msn.com/id/3130372/)
AP - Oct. 31, 2003
The new gasoline-electric hybrid car from Toyota Motor Corp. is selling much better than the Japanese automaker had expected …
*******************************************
GM: Fuel-cell cars will pass hybrids.
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/3130369/
Reuter’s - Oct 31, 2003
Less than a week after its biggest Japanese rival touted the economic and ecological benefits of hybrids, General Motors made a case of its own on Monday: Only hydrogen-fuelled cars will survive in the endgame.

___Anyways, I thought it was fortunate to see this old news pop up like it did and how this shows the errors of some and the success of others … Do you think GM gets it yet?
___Good Luck
