Going home from work last night, I was cruising in my usual fashion on sideroads...
keeping to the speed limit, NICE Fas to lights and stops, engine off at longer lights, etc...
I noticed this guy on my tail keeping up with me nice and tight for a mile or two. He was finally able to shift around and pass me.
But as he did, he showed his appreciation for my driving techniques by raising his hand to his window and showing me he thought I was number 1! :eyebrow:

I think I'm slowly winning them over.

Yes, that surely is a sign of your prowess... ;) Maybe sometime soon you'll get the 'double salute'

Well that clears that up. I have been stopping and looking on my car roof, to see what they were pointing at and there is never anything there. I’ll start giving them a thumbs-up in return since they are just congratulating me.

I've got one of those cartoon speaking clouds on the windshield of my truck. It says "next time wave all your fingers at me"
