Kickoff is less than 1.5 hours away.

Sportswriter Peter King (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_King_(sportswriter))has a random thoughts article, so I have one of my own.

Glad Bob Hayes got in the Hall of Fame anyway inspite of Peter King :p (He was one of the 39 voters and suspect of an East Coast bias)
Wouldn't be nice if Pat Tillman had come back from his tour of duty and played in this Super Bowl? Maybe he and a band of zombies will come to haunt the Steelers! ..... but then the Steeler Nation can summon Jack Lambert. :p
Isn't it time to get rid of Roman Numerals for Super Bowl? Who wants to text that?
The Steel Curtain wants to eat Kurt Warner's lunch but Warner picks up dinner tab for 20 Steelers fans (http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/28951831/)
Will Larry Fitzgerald have Barnam-and-Bailey catches in the SB that rank up with Lynn Swann? Or will it be Troy Polamalu's day?
How old was Dan Rooney when the Steelers were established?
The NFL has floated the idea of maybe playing a future SB bowl in London

Ironic commercial for Steeler fans: wild car chase sceen with a motorcycle wipeout (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Roethlisberger#Motorcycle_accident).

They rule Roethlisberger knee was a foot outside of the goal line - Steelers kick field goal.

3-0 Steelers

Star Trek Commercial! :)

Along the lines of current events commentary of Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country (the "Glastnos ST" with references to Gorbachev, Oliver North...)....they should have Tuvok as first President of the United Federation of Planets. :D

Cardinals have a bad drive, but have a great punt followed by an interception.

On Steeler 34 just before halftime.

Cardinals on the Steeler 2 - 100 yard runback of an interception for a touchdown.

Cardinals were in prime position to tie or lead up to that point.

Halftime

Steelers 17 - Cardinals 7

So apparently the 3D thing is kind of like a magic eye puzzle. It took a while for my brain to adjust to it.

On review, Kurt Warner's throw was an incomplete pass - not a fumble.

Cardinals stopped a Steeler touchdown, then a personal foul turned the field goal into a 2nd chance for the Steelers to score a touchdown. Somehow, the Cardinals stopped them again

20-7

Anything can happen next season - The Cardinals and Steelers could completely miss the playoffs next season, but this thought came to mind: if Pittsburgh wins the SB next year they tie New England for most championships this decade, leaving a debate as to who is the team of this decade.
