A preview of The Last Kiss has a tree totaling a black Prius.
A teaser of A Good Year has one of my favorite smart-a$$ driving a Smart car. :p Russell Crowe has a A Beautiful Mind (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Beautiful_Mind_%28film%29) :DDo you think Hollywood is deliberately promoting green cars?

i remember the classic prius driven from the blonde character in scary movie 3, and ya green promotes more than being evil I find.

Hi All:

___I picked up the movie “RV” starring Robin Williams at Blockbuster the other night (funnier then I thought it would be) and low and behold, the last scene had a Citrus Insight appear as a couple Colorado based - Fruit Drink company founders were tracking the family down. Nice to see the Citrus Insight in the film although not a minute later, the RV began to roll backwards and crushed both the Insight and a Police Cruiser :(

...you see, that's going to make it harder for Wayne to get a good deal on an Insight. ;)

It's such a shame, because there is a certain lemon Insight they could have liquated on the movie...I'm relying on your telepathic abilities to know which one... ;)

NO!! Not a shame, the car they REALLY crushed was a '92 Ford Thunderbird! Trust me, I had been waiting patiently to see the movie and NEVER knew a citrus was in it so I was pleasently surprised to see the car and almost pooped cobblestone (no, I won't cuss :Banane06: ) when I saw that scene. I then replayed it in s l o w m o t i o n and paused it then zoomed, clearly a '92 Ford Thunderbird. I slept easy that night.

Hi All:

___Closest thread I could find about fuel efficient vehicles in Movies, sitcoms, soaps etc. ...

___Anyone watch Numb3rs (http://www.cbs.com/primetime/numb3rs/) on Friday nights? One of the lead characters (Charlie played by David Krumholtz) is a mathematician who figures out all sorts of ways to catch the "bad" guys but more importantly, he drives a blue Prius-II. His father (Alan played by Judd Hirsch) was joking about his driving and the honking that goes on behind him in last nights episode so I assume Charlie is also a hypermiler ;)

Charlie is too distracted to be a hypermiler.

This is a character who can *not* live in the moment, he only has brief contact with the here and now (generally while trying to explain something or ask something), the rest of the time he's in Charlieville.
