2010 Insight
My dealership management (Midlands Honda in Columbia, SC) has authorized me to offer a special deal to CleanMPG.com members. We currently have several, 2010 Honda Insight Hybrids on order with the factory, several in each trim and at least one in each available color, LX, EX, and EX with Navigation. They will be sold at MSRP.

How we work the waiting lists
Vehicles with a deposit are no longer eligible for test drives by anyone other than the prospective owner, service and parts may no longer add equipment or services to the vehicle other than the Factory required Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and any work requested by the purchaser.

While we have Insights and HCHIIs in stock, if you want to work a special order, the way I work our waiting lists, is first come first served by Trim and Color desired. For example if someone wants the First Insight regardless of color or trim they get it. If someone wants the first available LX they'd be slotted behind the first guy. If someone wanted the first blue EX Navi, they'd also be behind guy number one but, not the second customer necessarily since they are waiting on different cars, and technically the first customer is waiting on the same car as both customers that put a deposit after him.
First come first served.

Any hidden equipment?
My dealership does add equipment to their vehicles typically splash guards, wheel locks, and window tint, however, customers with deposits get exactly the car they order and the only equipment that will be on the car at delivery (if the deposit is taken before the car lands) will be specified by the customer.

Great, What’s my pricing for each hybrid?
Your "drive out" price would be MSRP for the Insight -$300 CleanMPG member discount (you must provide your screen name at the time of purchase) + $-499- ($199 thru 4-30) Documentation fee (for handling all paperwork and processing) + any taxes or fees your state & local government requires us to collect (including an Out of State tag, or a new or transfer tag).

How will I get my car? FedEx?
On both vehicles we will follow the directions of your preferred vehicle transporter, and for local orders you may elect to have your vehicle delivered to your home or office by a skilled hypermiler (Me :D) with a brief clinic included at no extra charge. You may also elect to stop by and pick the vehicle up yourself, and you are still eligible for the one on one driving clinic. Accessories:
Our dealership adds accessories to most unclaimed in-stock units. Typically in-stock units are equipped with: Window Tint, Splash Guards and Wheel Locks or a combo of these, $299, $299 and $199 including labor.

These items are only added if a car is delivered to us and doesn't have a deposit.

Most Honda dealers add accessories and don't mention this until you are in the showroom, after you have contacted them and agree to visit their location; some even strong-arm you into getting stuff you don't want.

If you want an in stock unit (rather than one in transit) and it has equipment I'll let you know before we move forward. We don't add any extras to claimed vehicles.

If you put a deposit on an incoming car or a unit in stock with no accessories I won't be pushing you for extra stuff.

If window tint is illegal in your area please pick an incoming unit or let me know and we can try to work something out with the management.

Hey folks,

My GM just dropped the Price on the '03 Honda Insight CVT we have down to $8,999.
Same deal as our new cars, let me know when you contact me that you saw this post so we can get CleanMPG the credit for the sale.

The car has 61,000 miles and is a one owner vehicle with a clean CarFax, the vehicle was originally sold by my dealership and we've done all the service on it too.

The car doesn't have any incomplete bulletins or services on file.

Kacey how long are these new prices good for? I'm in the market for a HCHII with Leather around June or July. Damn those prices are outstanding. :D

These prices are good until the end of the month, I don't know if the programs we are using will renew.

I understand that you didn't plan to finance, there are some really nice rates out right now, and these loans are simple intrest with no prepayment/early payment penalties.

Please consider one or two months finance, and then paying it off, or putting down what you do have and paying the remainder off when you get the rest.

Let me know if this is a viable option for you.

I'm loving my HCHII, the Prius while nice, didn't impress me enough that I'd consider actually purchasing it. I'd like to drive one, but until the HCHIII or CR-Z comes out I'm reserving my purchase decision.

At the end of every month or near the beginning of most months incentives and programs end, and sometimes new programs come up later.

Today one of the programs valued at $1000 ended, these are still wicked awesome prices for the HCHII, but I'm not sure what will happen at the beginning of next week when several other programs we used are scheduled to end.
