greenhumanjames 01-22-2009, 08:13 PM still looks the same to me, its still ugly.
Hi Greenhumanjames:
___Apparently over 1.2 million people in the world think otherwise... I am one of them as the 2010 is a work of art both under the hood and around it.
___Good Luck

JusBringIt 01-22-2009, 09:40 PM Add me to that 1.2million.
still looks the same to me, its still ugly.
Well, I guess ugly isn't really much to judge by then, since this car is an icon.
bomber991 01-22-2009, 10:17 PM The 3rd gen prius seems more like the model just had a face lift, similar to the 04 to 05 and 06 to 07 Subaru Imprezas. I mean, the car basically still looks the same on the outside, not like the drastic change from gen 1 to gen 2.
Kacey Green 01-22-2009, 10:44 PM Same on the new corolla too, not to drastic looking on the outside, but still all new, I can see it on the Prius because I used to drive one everyday but I can't see it on the Corolla except for the newly downgraded center stack (radio and HVAC controls and such), the silly corporate grill, and the funny looking rear end
brick 01-23-2009, 09:54 AM While I don't have a problem with the way the Prius looks, it doesn't really matter to me anyway. I care most about view from the driver's seat, which is very much improved IMO. The controls are nicely laid out, the MFD is a bit more convenient (even if the physical display is not as fancy), and it's quite a bit more comfortable. It's a much more inviting space in general.
For the people who think its ugly, why is it ugly?
Harold 01-23-2009, 12:01 PM I for one like the nose job, much better looking car. Hal
At least the III generation looks better than the I and II.
Just teasing, nice looking car. :p
Kacey Green 01-25-2009, 11:37 PM I saw a first gen behind me just outside my neighborhood on the way to work this morning, it still looks good to me. I can't say I ever thought the 2g looked good but I do like that it is shaped the way it is for a reason and not for aesthetics, form over function FTW.
msirach 03-13-2009, 01:10 AM Someone has requested to see a pic of the 2010 Prius Gen III seat height adjustment lever. Here is a pic taken in Detroit with Wayne checking out driver operating positioning.
The lever on the side of the seat is a jacking lever that raises or lowers the seat.

Here is a pic with the driver's seat adjusted all the way back and Wayne testing passenger room.

raveneon 03-16-2009, 11:39 AM For the people who think its ugly, why is it ugly?
Because it looks like a chevy citation with altezzas?
Hi Raveneon:
Because it looks like a chevy citation with altezzas?
___You have a point there!

Nevyn 03-16-2009, 12:03 PM I don't find it "hideous," but it's not exactly "pleasing" for me either. I don't like the new "Yaris-esque" hood creases/nose job myself.
brick 03-16-2009, 03:08 PM Hey, my parents used to have one of those! Worked great until it quit working.
