I figured I should introduce myself. My real name is Chris. I drive a 2003 Civic Hybrid that has over 100,000 miles. I'm a gay, liberal Christian, quasi-Socialist with a interesting career in law enforcement.

Anyone who has read my posts from GreenHybrid can testify that I have a rather sharp tongue and a grimly cynical outlook -- especially when it comes to the shenanigans perpetrated by GM, George Bush, WalMart, and Republicans espousing so-called "compassionate conservatism". I don't mince words. But if I ever offend, I will always apologize, and when I'm wrong, I admit it.

Two websites I run:

World of Gaianar: http://www.gaianar.com
Indigo's Journey: http://www.indigohalo.com

Hi Ashen Grey:

___I find your conversations intriguing but I want to make sure you try and keep the politico talk to an absolute minimum. Someone made a comment in another thread after an Administration comment by you earlier today. Please try and tone down the political rhetoric (I can be guilty in many cases myself) to an absolute minimum. Please do this as we are not running the wild wild west like what goes on over at other even larger sites you may be affiliated with :)

___With that, welcome and I will enjoy another POV!

___I changed your intro title to a slightly more conservative description. I hope you do not mind but you sound like a lot nicer guy with the above ;)

___Good Luck

___Wayne

Yeah, it's great. 4.1 miles (one way), but with about a dozen traffic lights. It's perfect for an IMA hybrid (not!) Ha ha! Maybe next time around I'll get a Prius and a few extra batteries and never have to buy gasoline again!
