Next week is "Black Monday" when the regular season is over and coaches and their staff get fired.

I think Zorn is a victim of his early success and should get at least another year.

Mike Singletary knows how to inspire players, although I would not suggest his tact (http://www.faniq.com/blog/Mike-Singletary-Mooned-The-49ers-During-Halftime-Of-Their-Loss-To-The-Seahawks-Blog-13267)be applied on next month's State of the Union in regards to our economy.

Most of us in Cincinnati hope Marvin Lewis goes.

Most of us in Cincinnati hope Marvin Lewis goes.My impression of the Bengals is like the Cowboys: they have the talent to get into the playoffs but poor coaching and teamwork prevent this.

Speaking of teamwork in Dallas, this might be a good time to let TO go. I didn't like the idea of getting him to start with, but he is 35 and his ability to be a deep threat is starting to dimish, but not his ability to be locker room cancer....he is starting to question Tony Romo just like the previous two teams he was with

The real culprit here is Mike Brown. Remember when Lewis said he'd wanted nothing to do with Chris Henry after the guy had been arrested four times, Brown over-rode him.

Nothing in Cincinnati will change until Mike Brown croaks. Then again, it might not change anyway, since his daughter and son in law are next in line.

That kind of delegation works in Pittsburgh, New England, Miami now, Dallas in the pre-Jerry Jones days.

One sign of a failing sports franchise is players/coachers doing better after they move on. For example, Parcells is doing great in Miami. When he left Dallas, Mike Singletary was interviewed, I think to satisfy the NFL equal opportunity policies. :eyebrow: Lack of displine/motivation is what hurts the Cowboys the most....they should have hired Singletary and let his assistants sweat the Xs and Os (what they do anyway). I predict The 49er will win the NFC West at some point in Singletary's career.

How's this: "Win one for the Zipper"

Denver Broncos Fire Mike Shanahan (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2008/12/30/denver-broncos-fire-mike-shanahan/)

Mike Martz out as 49ers offensive coordinator

Dick Jaron stays in Buffalo

What if Shanahan went to Kansas City, then exacted payback on Denver like he did with Oakland? :D
