Here is a '03 Civic Hybrid on Ebay. I don't have the cash at the moment but I wanted to know what you think for future reference.

My 2003 HCH recently hit 100,000 miles and has had only a handful of repairs in all that time. Most of the corrections were covered under warranty, and the only repair I had to pay for was a whopping $80.

The only thing I'd be afraid of with that one is the fact that it's been in an accident. That might be no big deal if it happened at relatively low speed or the guy was just side swiped, but if it was a higher speed impact...fugeddaboudit. One would definitely wnat a test drive and a trip to a trusted mechanic for inspection!

hm civic hybrid is the better value hybrid... i mean we can just key off and on as many times as we want! a prius would add a few more thousands to the price imo due to its popularity.

Actually, I still want a 5-speed. I was mostly asking about whether this was a good price range. With the HCH's listed on Ebay, the price difference between a CVT and a 5-speed is not that great. Actually there were only 2 5-speeds listed. The automatic I mentioned was only at $5800 just a few minutes ago. The two 5-speeds are listed at $12,488 for an '03 and an '05 with a bid of $14,000 and the reserve is not met. The others listed range from $9,000 to $20,000.

Here is another one. This one is an '04 with no reserve for $10,350 and it has 45,000 miles. Better deal?
