Was shocked that a DVD update from Toyota for the NAV system costs over $250. I can't seem to find another source for the update DVD's. Are there other sources available?:)

Sorry that doesn't help you. apierpoint 01-01-2009, 11:28 PM Does anyone know if the DVD can be re-used or re-sold? I think it's ridiculous to pay $250 for the DVD when I could go buy a new handheld GPS for WAY less! Andrea :) oldlar 01-02-2009, 08:20 AM Thats why I got a Garmon Street Pilot 330 a couple of years ago. One it is very portable and I can move it from car to car and, two, the upgrades are about $80. I see that Amazon now has 2009 upgrade at $49. I did get the 2008 upgrade and reloaded it into the unit and saw no major differences in the program. Supposedly the disc can only be used for one Garmon unit. A friend that has the built in GPS in his Magum and the upgrade was about $150. kenoarto 06-15-2009, 12:58 AM $250 is really terrible vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
