The election is over, but some of the virtual campaign sticker on wheels were standout. Take a look at them! (http://jalopnik.com/5074567/the-best-and-worst-mccain-vs-obama-get+out+the+votemobiles)

Judge the vehicle on their own merits - we have already done that on the candidates. Shame I can only do a poll on the best campaign vehicle, want to do worst, most in character, out of character -- Ed

Although we'll know who the next president will be by tomorrow night (barring any shenanigans from swing states — we're looking at you Florida), we can learn something about each campaign's supporters right now by looking at their cars. Anyone can donate their money and time, but it takes someone special to convert their car into a portable billboard. Fans of both Senator John McCain and Barack Obama have, in some cases, permanently altered their cars in an attempt to sway voters. Below, and just in time for this week's SEMA (http://jalopnik.com/tag/SEMA/) show, we look at these rolling works of political art (we guess) in order to see what we can glean about their supporters.… http://jalopnik.com/5074567/the-best-and-worst-mccain-vs-obama-get+out+the+votemobiles

Could not do multiple polls, but the "HUMVEE of Hope" has to be the worst hands down, although overall the pro-Obama vehicles were better done.

I'm leaning with the Volvo - that vehicle choice was as spot on as the HUMVEE was just plain wrong.

My vote is for the Ron Paul Prius. Which it was transformed into the Bob Barr Prius the past two months. Sorry I don't have any photos of the Bob Barr Prius.

Still another poll I wanted to make: Are Prius drivers gun shy to dress up their cars? TheForce gets a bravery medal for that alone. Better add Jesse's 350,000 Prius I that resembled the Suburu pictured.

Heck, all these rednecks trying to run me off the road in the morning assume all Insights and Prius voted for Obama!

Then doing mods take priority.

I may have found a new thread to start. :)

The liberal Volvo has an unfair advantage. Naturally, I can't remember what I voted for.

I was clueless to the Volvo stereotype a few years ago when I read Get Fuzzy.

Rob is working on a promotion for Vermont and his smart-aleck Siamese Bucky suggests:

"Vermont: Where even the rednecks drive Volvos" :D

Of course, the author got in trouble for a fictious promotion that Pittsburgh stinks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Get_Fuzzy#Pittsburgh)

Two that did not get votes so far were very well done:

The "Ready on Day 1" Cherokee had the most professional job.

The Saturn Mural was the best artwork.
