I had a great segment today on my way home. I thought I was going to have trouble because I saw a car in the mirror that I figured would be crowding me and messing up my run. To my surprise, it never really got very close. It would come up a bit but would usually fall way back fairly quickly. When I went to make my turn onto my road, I saw the reason why they never played the "proctologist". It was a guy in a newer Prius!:) Way cool!:woot: Anyway, my mileage(according to SG2-finally calibrated) was reading 50.1 for a 4.85 mile segment. Not bad for a Saturn with a combined raring of 33. This brings up a question. As many of you know, my Saturn died a horrible death on June 24. I have bought another car but I bought it on Ebay from a dealer in NJ and a friend of mine who lives west of Harrisburg, PA picked it up for me. Now, I just need time to pick it up.:( In the meantime, I have been driving my grandfather's newly purchased '97 Saturn SL1 5-speed. This is almost identical to my car except grandpa's has PS. My question: Since it's nearly identical to my car, should I continue adding to my original gaslog or should I make a new one? If I make a new one I'll never use it once I get my new car. What do you think? Since I've been driving this car, I have gotten 44.4 at just over 200 miles, 44.7 at around the same miles, 44.8 after 462.x miles, and 45.1 after 215.x miles.
