This is his 23 year old daughter Meghan, who I just saw earlier on FOX News.

That, and she drives a Prius. :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xp0iHOk0mEQ - at 2:15.

She is doing 70 MPH though.

Given that Obama and McCain are indistinguishable on the issues, there isn't much left to go on. This was a joke, really, though. But something that caught my attention :)

And it was (by most of us) immediately recognized as a joke, bums. On the other hand..."sperm donner [sic]?"

My biggest worry about the elections is those who won't vote as some sort of protest. PLEASE!!! If you think the worse of the two candidates is going to win, don't stay home--vote against him!!!

@Showbizk

I knew it was a joke, that IMO is the entire problem with this election. Everyones attitudes towards it. It is a joke, a sad sad joke.

Vote for the one you hate the least. That would be funny too if it wasn't what everyone was saying. Unfortunately the whole thing is really not as funny as you think.

The current president put this country into serious debt, and on the brink of a recession. The next 1 could be worse or better. But we certainly aren't going to figure that out by cracking jokes, calling people terrorists or racists. People vote for president for lesser reasons than what his daughter looks like, joke or not it still a crappy suggestion.

This is what I'd say if I saw her in the club

"Baby do you hypermile?"

"'Cause I could pulse and glide you all night long!"

Then on the way home in her car going 70mph I'd be like "what?!" "you don't Pulse and Glide?!" "I be done wit you! Let me outta the car!"

Showbizk

Kore, I never said it was funny (the election). It's more tragic. A single person--the president in this case--can not put a country into the condition this country is in by himself. It took help from Congress, and the presidents before him. The next president won't be responsible for whatever direction the country goes by himself, either. It will take the cooperation of Congress, and it all starts with the people voting for those individuals. Think. Study. Investigate candidates and issues. Then VOTE with a clear conscience that you have voted the way your wisdom and research led you to vote.

WOW! We've certainly brought a buzzkill to this thread! :)

Does she pulse and glide while she dances?

Can you drive her without brakes?

Can you draft her at high speed?

Does she make you full auto stop when you see her?

A lot of ugly people drive Priuses. Its not that special.

McCains already tried to win votes with a pretty face and sunny personality, and thats not going to win either.

I thought it was Chris Matthers and Keith Olbermann. You know, the guy who gets a tingle up his legs when Obama is mentioned.

At least Neil Cavuto, Megyn Kelly, etc. on Fox News are a bit more discreet about who they support.

phoebeisis
10-16-2008, 04:19 PM
Olbermann (sic) is such an irritating guy that he probably costs Obama votes.

Chris Mathews is a different story-likeable.

Of course they aren't newscasters, so there isn't any reason they should pretend to be neutral- so they don't. Their stated intention is to be objective, but who knows on that.

Olberman is the worst excuse for a newscaster/commentator I have ever seen or heard. His smarta$$ness on ESPN fit fine. On a legitimate news channel--no way. Of course, considering it is MSNBC, maybe he does fit!

Q: What does John McCain's campaign has with Nixon's 1972 campaign?

A: Both hoped a plumber would win them the election.

The only response I have for those two is perhaps to shed a tear. No parent can 100% error proof their kids, but I have to believe that someone has failed them somewhere along the line. Otherwise there wouldn't be blogs chock-full full of pictures just like that one.

agreed brick, there is nothing worse than showing the whole world you like to get drunk out of your mind and get pregnant in the process.

Honestly if McCain agreed with almost 90% of bush's policies AND he gets voted again in office? Boy with the Conservatives and Republicans kissing ass with each other, I got no hope for this world.

One thing's for sure, that family definitely has had its share of "everyday American ups and downs". On the upside, the governor did a decent job on SNL last night.

My bad hair/underage drinking days occurred back when most phones still had cords, and the only phone I ever saw with a camera was at the 1964 NY World's Fair.

But I get your point. Kids can be embarassing. Even moreso when what they do directly contradicts everything you want to shove down other people's throats were you to get elected, as Bristol's antics do vis-a-vis her mommy. They're evidence of what a lot of right-leaning folks like to call "talking the talk but not walking the walk".

An older woman- like Gov Palin- is at much, much higher risk( maybe 100x) to give birth to a Downs child than a 17 yo. The child is Gov Palins; stupid to think otherwise.

Charlie

This is true. I had just done some research on this recently and the numbers are something like:

25 - 1 in 1,250
30 - 1 in 1,000
35 - 1 in 400
40 - 1 in 100
45 - 1 in 30

So you can see Sarah falls in a much higher risk category than her teen age daughter.
