The Washington National Catherdral was started on Sept 28, 1907 and completed the same day in 1990. Funerals for three Presidents were held there.

They had a contest on who should be depicted as an evil gargoyle...anyone venture to guess? Hint: I'm imagining the organist playing his theme. :D

Maybe so, but how many kids out of the total number of kids in the world, or even in the US has been there. Not everyone knows these things.

That would be very cool! In any case, if you visit Washington, the place is well worth the visit if you have never seen a gothic cathedral.
