Good for FE, but for comfort... Its still 64 degrees outside for a low and the highs are in the mid 80s. And summer is over. This is officially early fall now.

That sounds a lot better than what we get here in Kentucky.

There's four seasons around here: Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Construction.

Almost Winter runs from November through December, where weather can either be 1) 75+ degrees or 2) 20 degrees but nothing in between.

Winter is just that... winter. Cold days, colder nights, Usually snow and sleet mixed with especially crappy FE.

Still Winter runs from March well into May... with cold nights in the 30's and 40's extending well into May.

Construction runs from June until October or so. 90+ days, 70+ nights.

Except this year which there has really been no summer. I haven't even wanted to use the A/C that much. I only cranked it out of necessity once this entire summer, and that was on a 100+ day and 600 mile driving day (after 400 of which my left arm was sunburned to hell). But I am going off topic and would trade Kentucky weather for San Diego any day :)

San Diego sounds a lot like Columbia.

I don't know, it sounds pretty nice to me...

Auston, here in Texas our seasons are Summer, Summer, Summer, and January. We have sporadic bouts of January, usually lasting 2-3 days, from October to March.

Well, Like I said, SD climate is great for FE due to the lack of weather and lack of winter. In any case, for comfort, I would choose Coastal Washington State, where its always nice and cool and humid. Never really cold winters, and the summers are awesome. Aberdeen, WA for example, the AVG High/Low in January is 45/37, and the AVG High/Low in August is 69/52. And plenty of rain. It does suck for FE though...

While here in SD we are stuck with Summer 3/4 of the year and Fire Season 2 weeks of the year and then comfort the rest of the year. Still way better than most of the country, but not quite as nice and coastal WA;).

I agree that the West Coast is great for weather. Your temperature preference determines how far north or south along the coast is your "perfect" spot. Your perfect is "cold" to me, so SD is more to my liking.

Ah, I see you point. And considering texas' climate, i can see why you would prefer SD. I could never survive texas summers, i feel hot when its like 85... not that i use A/C, but still.
