Coming back home on I-71/75 after passing through Cincinnati...

I think this picture is self-explanatory. (As always, it's taken through my rear view mirror.) What's the AAA got to say about this yahoo who would prefer to see my car as his new hood ornament?

Suppose I had to make an emergency stop.

Got stories of your own? Send us your pictures and stories and we'll feature them on Jerk of the Day!

I have become so inured to truckers sipping on my tailpipe that unless they try and push me off the road or side-swipe me, I really don't grant them any notice when they tailgate me. I leave a very large following distance in front of me, ride close to the white line on the right lane, and use my flashers when I see a truck barreling down on me in the right lane. If they still don't get the message that I am not moving, they are too stupid to warrant being yielded the right of way.

I try to be courteous as possible when on the road--I still believe that 95% of the truckers out there are professional and could still be considered the knights of the road. There's a few yahoos out there that ruin it for everyone, though.

I don't brake check semi's due to the possibility of them jack-knifing and taking out the whole freeway.

And if I'm on the open road and I see a semi coming up quickly, I'll give them three blinks of the four-ways to tip them off that I'm going slow in the right lane. Usually the courtesy is returned and hats off to everyone out there who's doing everything right.

The K-DOT makes a big deal about not cutting off a truck on the road or tailgating one, that should apply to truckers tailgating cars - and other trucks - too.

Wonder if this is the trucker in the St Joseph paper forum heckling us about drafting? ;)

This seems to work well for me too. Most will move into the left lane after I give them the flashers. I also flash my headlights as soon as they are clear so that they can move back into the right lane. A lot of them flash me back after passing and I take this as a thank you.

Typical. I had this happen today also.

Nice phone,
I got the same Moto, in black, for 29 bucks in Taiwan. Works with all the name brand carriers in the US. W409.

Yeah, I love being in the right lane, with four lanes of passing on 94 near Hudson, WI. Still with a beast an inch on my tail. Then they have to slow down to make it up the hill... or not. I saw a gravel carrier doing 80... think about that. *8 MPG, is now 1 MPG to get up that grade.

TRAINS TRAINS TRAINS

ONE CSX TRAIN DOES THE WORK OF 250 FULL SIZE SEMI TRUCKS! that's 250 inefficient, unsafe and DANGEROUS vehicles of the road.

Second thought. Regulate truckers, cheater boxes, like black boxes too, that only allow 55 MPH, in the "truck lane". -Solved.

I think I've given this story before but one day my old phone dies and I go in to get another new one... I decide on a Razr because others have a hard time fitting in my pocket with all the other stuff (if you've met me you know I have about a thousand keys). The silver ones are sold out so I'm like "Whatever, give me a pink one."

I bought a blue cover for it but one day I dropped the phone and the cover popped off and went in the sewer. So now it's an all pink phone, complete with pink light-up buttons :o

there is nothing wrong with a pink phone,
if it does a good job, decent, then fine!

plus, it takes a real man to pull it off.
If Toyota made it, my next Corolla would be pink... if mine doesn't come back from the dead, then it WILL be pink

I just noticed your post here:

What if they made all new Dodge Ram/Ford F-series/Chevy Silverado pickups in bright pink colors with Hello Kitty decals all over them, standard? How many would they sell?

Someone made a comment about a pink shirt I used to wear. I explained that bleach just wouldn't get out any more of the blood.
