Sept 3rd - GM reports latest Hummer sales. The flagship H1 sold 4 vehicles in August a tremendous 400% increase over July's 1 unit sale ! Even though H1 units sales are way down for the year, August's 400% increase may signal a inflection point according to unnamed industry insiders.

' H1 year to date sales of 17 vehicles might appear dismal to some, but its an average of more than 2 vehicles per month - the 4 in August are a welcome bit of good news the 400% sales increase July to August , why if H1 keeps its up, H1 inventory will be down to a mere 120 days within 12 months' - represents the views of a top unnamed industry insider.

H1 - 4 (AUG) - 17 (YTD)

Would be ineresting to meet the people who like excess :rolleyes: . I can't comprehend as to why anyone in this world would need Hummer H1 anyway. :confused:

Didn't they stop making the H1 in 2006? So still selling 17 of them 2 years later, not that big a deal. Also the thing came out in 1992. Kind of lost it cool factor now that's it's a 16 year old vehicle.

Wiki says H1 production ended in 2006 - Evidently the H! "alpha" was a complete redesign for model year 2005.

'In 2006,the suggested retail price was $129,399.00 for the open-top; the wagon was $140,796.00'



Pretty illuminating - These H1's have been siting in inventory for some 700 days !
