Hi All,

I used to be an impatient, lead-footed commuter which left me drained after a day's commute. CleanMPG.com has not only taught me how to drive more efficiently but how to be a better driver in general. I rarely post to message boards but I'm impressed by the genuine sense of community this website has.

Sorry for the lame user name. I was inspired by the many HotWheels cars scattered around our house belonging to my two boys. I know I will never commute in anything that cool! :o

Here is my WarmWheels specs: 1999 Honda Civic LX with AT. Averaging about 34 MPG on my daily commute of 52 miles. 60% city, 40% highway. That's about 20% better than I managed before I found this website.

I've learned a lot in the weeks of "lurking" on CleanMPG and I'm sure I will learn more.

Thanks,
Doug

Welcome!
Great to hear from someone from the sidelines! At CleanMPG.com, we have 2 kinds of people that visit. We have Members and Guests. The word lurker has a sinister sound to it!

We want everyone to learn! The guests that read from the sidelines could learn more by posting their experiences. Members that post can have their questions answered quicklyand save them time and money.
