keep in mind this is an Auto V6 w/o dfco rated at 19/27 city/hwy Old epa. I also had to part with the SGII so that my brother could be a bit more fuel conscious. ;)

With that in mind, For how much do you think I could milk it?

Oh, and also keep in mind that I've never hit 400 miles before the bottom line and I've had a 506 mile tank before ;) Also, I hit the 3/4 tank line at about 321 miles on the trip odo. :D oh yeah 15.9gal tank. (thanks Jon) I remembered to put that just as I was re-reading it :o

good luck getting those miles! I suppose you have had the sg long enough that you have developed enough feel of correct driving technique that you don't need it so much anymore. :)

My bro is lame, he's one of those people who's only interested when you show it to him :p. He said he wasnt really using the sg but he does use some of the techniques and is a bit concerned about his gas mileage. I told him how to calculate his mileage so he will be doing that. I think he's just building a baseline. I drove his ford escort which is non FAS-able and got 45mpg city. If I could FAS that car I'd be in the 60's! so many opportunities!

Either ways The tank is at 424mi still hasnt hit the bottom line, empty light has not come on yet :D. This is crazy, I would have been lucky to see 300 miles on the entire tank pre-hypermiling days! This is all city driving too, I'm sure I could get 50mpg on the highway....too bad there isnt a highway road to work.. o well...I'm getting 40's when epa says I should be getting 17-19 :D
