I propose the new acronym "DLI", and would like to award the first one to the lady in the Kia SUV (Sorrento??) today for the following performance:

She was lightly tailgating me on the 2-lane highway I take to get to I-95, closer than I like but further than some. I was doing between 38 and 40mph, PSL is 40mph. We came to the first passing zone. Zero oncoming traffic, so I edge right almost onto the narrow strip of paved shoulder. She stays back there, so I figure she's happy. We come to the next passing zone, and there is oncoming traffic. After the end of the passing zone, she pulls across the double yellow, passes me, and speeds off into the distance. Huh???

Nothin' in her noggin'! :p I like the new acronym, and second the motion to add it to the vocabulary. :D Can someone add it to the glossary?

Hi John:

___Add it to the glossary at your earliest convenience!

___Hypermiler, good one but the reference to her would have to include him or her ;)

___Good Luck

Was she on a cell phone at the first passing zone? The one I tried to invite around yesterday had to hang up first and take a later (and poorer) opportunity.

My thoughts exactly. Probably not paying attention earlier, and so didn't really notice she was driving below psl. Reminds me of the FEH cell-phoner who, while DLI, almost demolition derbied me this morning.

Possibly but she was close enough that it was difficult to see over her hood (the Insight is fairly low).
