I was looking through the auto section in my Sunday paper this morning. Guys there were one and a half pages of car ads.

Now I understand during a holiday weekend but this wasn't a holiday weekend.

What did your Sunday paper have to offer in your neck of the woods?

Oh and of course almost every thing that gets decent mileage was over priced with the exception of the Cobalt's and Focuses.

Also only one dealer display ad. There others were individual column ads.

In the DC area, a LOT of people go on vacation in July & August. I'm looking at private sale ads, and not necessarily all that FE, but the pickin's are still very slim. I was in the market only 2 months ago, and there was a lot more to choose from then.

Hi ALS:

___Funny that you mentioned that as I was telling my wife that the Chicago Tribune’s Sunday Auto section had just one extra insert vs. the two or three like normal. The Domestics and Toyota dealerships backed off but the Honda dealerships appeared to be placing them at about the same rate they always have.

___I noticed it the fall off too…

___Good Luck
