I seem to be doing well. My total miles for the car are 1555.3. And my readout on the nav. says I got 36.9mpg. But this form when I entered the info says less. Anyone know anything about this? Do I need to have the car adjusted from the dealer?

I can't help you there. You might want to ask DebbieKatz. She has an FEH.

I wouldn't worry about the difference - my NAV & my ScanGauge often show different numbers, often *both* different from what shows up when I plug my tank stats in the Mileage Log here. I go with the calculation for each tank as my bottom line.

I don't think you need any adjustments. Just keep track of your tanks, try to fill up from the same position at the same pump, & pick a consistent point at which you stop filling - I usually stop at the first click, but some here ;) push to get every last drop into the tank that they can. As you continue to add tanks over time, your lifetime mpg will give you a more accurate picture of how you're doing :)

By the way, 36.9mpg at 1555mi. is pretty darn great :) :)

I track the current tank, the lifetime mpg and the total for the last ten tanks. I figure the last one tells me how I am doing over the last couple of months and averages out all the variables like where I drive when, how full I manage to fill that tank, and differences due to which gas station I stop at.

I just love this car. I keep doing better and better with each fill up. and my car is just at 2106 miles on the OD. my last tank avg was 39.5mpg. I really love not having to fill up until after 550 + miles.

Thanks to this board for all the help in getting over the est. mils per gal. The tank I am working on now I am in the 42MPG range. Like i said each tank is getting better and better.
