Tonight the Daily show had an interesting mock segment where the interviewed a man who promotes saving gas by drafting, NASCAR style. Fortunately there was no slanderous mention of Hypermiling. In fact, it was quite amusing. In true Daily show style, they sent one of their correspondents to interview a man who touted the savings potential of drafting. During this, they showed an animation with a BIG SUV drafting a minivan and the airflow benefits and right as the MPG savings were being mentioned, the SUV just flattened the minivan and sped off.
It was only a 3 minute comedy segment, but worth watching if you're a Daily Show junkie. Its nice to see that these types of stories are well known enough to become parodied by the Daily Show. This particular episode should be airing again at Midnight, and then again at 7:00 pm CST Tuesday.
