I love that car. Notice they mention for sale in Europe and Japan in 2009. U.S.?

Blah blah blah...just like all the rest of the cars that get great mileage.

European consumers get them and the US is under study. I know what that means. The same as several other cars Id like to buy but cant get here in the US.....they will never show up or worse when they do they will be some gas guzzling version of the original.

I'm sure people generally go for looks and reliability...why did the automakers start with the gas guzzling characteristic instead of the gas-sipping?
