I purchased the JC Whitney Universal Center Armrest for my 2000 Insight and thought I would post some pictures.

The color is very close to the original and the extra storage is much appreciated. The height is adjustable if you use the mounting hardware. However, I removed all the hardwared and just have it wedged in place. The height is just right to rest my elbow while driving and this allows me to still use the moderate amount of storage below as well.

I just ordered one off Ebay, shipped from some
guy in Canada, hasn't arrived yet, hope its a nice as
that one. I gave up looking for accessories off
Car parts sites. There were so few. Still looking for
a bra, and wind deflectors for the side windows.
I am pretty sure I saw one with both of these.

Did you get one from the Armrest King? (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7231)

It's a sturdy unit.

> You know, just having one less stress, the comfort
,taking the weight off the shoulder for the arm, will
translate to better driving/better mpg
