Yea, I knew they were rendered but it is at least coming close to what a real version will look like. I hope they really stick with this.

Making a 1.8L into a 1.6L would be cake if that's the magic number Toyota wanted. Swap the crank, con rods and pistons and you're done. They're going to throw away the cylinder head anyway (gotta have atkinson cycle) so they may as well tweak the bottom end the way they want it.

BTW the new Prius here looks great. THe
sloping hood is what I like about the Civic
Hybrid and others. The Prius as it is just
looks clunky to me. Not ugly. But w/o
the real pzzazz the Civic has.
