___I has a request come in early this morning for yet another Group Buy. The same $149.95 shipped with a minimum of 20 before it completes. The last three filled within three days although I do suspect this one will take a bit longer?

What are the chances of being able to order a second cable when we order an SG through the buying group? I'd like to be able to easily move the SG to my wife's car.

I think the last time a member wanted an extra cable, they charged me $18.95 inside the Group Buy which saves you a $1.00. It is not much but it is a savings vs. having one shipped at $19.95 + the $4.00 in shipping cost on top of that :(

So if I want an extra cable, I just pay extra? How will they know what the extra $$ is for? Should I leave a note in the paypal comments section to let them know I'm paying extra for the cable?

How long ago did group buy #12 close? How long should we expect for shipping after the 20 orders have been filled?

Also, this has been my first post to cleanmpg forums! Thanks to all who have contributed with their knowledge... I have learned a lot!

I drive a 1996 Altima, so I definitely won't be at the top of the ranks, but I will save money and have fun doing so!

___Group Buy #12 closed on Sunday night (3 days ago) after Midnight. If Group Buy #10 – 12 are any indication on shipping, it might be a few days longer than the past. James told me this morning that they are filling B/O’s on a 20 piece basis. In other words, Group Buy #10 is already half shipped with the other half going out tomorrow. Group Buy #11 and #12 are supposed to go out this coming Monday. This Group Buy should be shipped out by the end of next week after it fills.

Yes it is and from what I heard from someone that ordered one from Amazon, they are back ordered also. Seems SG became very popular all of a sudden.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm enjoying the community. My wife's arm didnt' suffer too much damage. She feels bad for me and my long commute, so she went easy on me.

___Same as the US residents but there was a Canadian resident that was nicked $20 or $25.00 for some kind of tax from a previous Group Buy :( Check your PM’s for the same.

Yeah I imagine they would collect the GST/PST taxes, and may also slap on duty tax... It sucks seeing good deals on the internet only to realize that after all the cross-border fees have latched on it isn't all that sweet of a deal anymore. :( Thanks for the help anyways and keep me posted if there are any other options.

Just curious...what are the meanings of "sent" and "confirmed", as relating to emails in your spreadsheet at the head of this thread?

I decided to get one even though I have a can-view. I figure it still might come in handy. Plus I bought an OBDII splitter cable just to see if I can run both at the same time.

___Sent and Confirmed is my own tracking E-Mail to the Group Buyer. If they reply, they are confirmed and when I receive tracking numbers they receive one as well. Those that do not reply take a risk that their shipping address is messed up for whatever reason and I do not bother sending them a tracking number given I do not know if their E-Mail is live or not? I see at least one wrong address per the PayPal payment in almost every group buy :(

I told you that buy #13 was going to be a winner! Now everyone get those confirmations in so this thing can get a move on. :) I need to get use to the SG before HF2008.

___I wish I could oblige but as stretched as Linear Logic is currently, it would be in all our of our best interest not to send them another E-Mail with a single order to be tacked on to the 34 already in their hands. They are really stretched thin right now from my discussions with them yesterday.

___I do have a few brand new ScanGauge’s with me at all times for Emergency’s and such but I would have to charge $159.95 for one shipped. Let me know but if it were me, I would wait for the next Group Buy to fill? Linear Logic is back ordered up through last weeks Group Buys so there is really no rush unless you are heading out on vacation or something?

___Group Buy #13 should have shipped today and as usual, I receive confirmation #’s after most have received their ScanGauge’s :( What usually happens is a Group Buy member reports they receives theirs and the flood gates are let loose. A day or two later I receive the confirms and pass it along to those that have yet received theirs yet.

Got mine and installed it yesterday. According to the SGII I averaged 49MPG on my way to work this morning, let's hope it is accurate.
