I apologize if I posted this in the wrong area.... :(
Got my scan gauge on Friday and already love the instant feedback while driving, however....
While plugged into my 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, the vehicle's radio clock resets to 0100 (like when you disconnect the battery) and will only turn on and play for a short time.
When the gauge is disconnected, everything is fine.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!!!
Try taking out all the X-Gauges to start with. I noticed that some typos on the X-Gauge could cause some confusion in some cars (never seen the radio freak though).

In the Ford Explorer that i'm doing the 3 month contest run my SG causes my Door Ajar light to come on. Took me awhile to figure it out but i believe it to be xgauges as well.

Okay I'll give it a shot, if I think I understand you guys correctly.
I didn't activate or set up any x-gauges...any quick tips on disabling what your talking about?
Thanks!!

Thanks!!If you didn't set them up there shouldn't be any there. But to be on the safe side, just go into x-gauge and set all the fields to 00. It's in the manual as the prescribed method to "disable" an X-Gauge.

If you are still having problems, another thing you could try is switching to only supported PIDs (MORE>MORE>MORE>PIDS, select SUPPORTED and SAVE). The troubleshooting section of the manual says it's a fix for 95-99 Subarus, but it might be a solution.
