For my final year Industrial design project I am hoping to design a concept for an interior of a four door sedan for the chinese market, possibly geely or chery

I am not chinese however and I do not know alot about the chinese culture, and I would like to know what the chinese market likes in their vehicle interiors, ie cultural influences, status symbols, layouts of instrument, textures, colours, styles, functions etc

I have no idea. Sorry.

I have been to China three times although not since 2001 and have a lot of extended family over there. If that is of any use I could try to give you some pointers? Drop me a PM if you're like and we can go from there.

I think Chinese people hate Japanese people, and they look down on drinking Western alcoholic drinks and wines.

I don't know how that helps with designing an interior though.
