Reports of rage while pumping gas at the station. (1% of customers)
A lot of this is probably childish - a lot of them probably drive guzzlers.
MSNBC Story (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13036424/)
While an attendant interviewed for the story felt he could not repeat what about what his customers said, I bet it's something like www.thekidfrombrooklyn.com (http://www.thekidfrombrooklyn.com). :D

I think the biggest problem people have is they don't understand why gas prices are rising. They have no idea how the system works (speculation on barrels of oil that haven't even been pumped and refined yet), coupled with the fact that most of them do not understand how to maximize their fuel economy through good driving habits.
Simply put, much of the population feels helpless, when in fact, much can be done (without spending more money) to conserve gas use. Drive slower, for starters. Accelerate lightly, leave 5 minutes earlier (so you don't feel rushed), make sure your car is in good working order (tires, oil, functioning O2 sensors, etc.). The list goes on.
It isn't that hard, people. I know I'm preaching to the choir, but why the hell can't people understand this?

People are simply irrational. If it's in their self-interest that 2+2=5, they think it's their right to have it that way.
I'm convinced that getting the driving public to get better fuel economy is not more knowledge, but a counciling issue to resolve very irrational driving behavior.
Yes, I'm frustrated with it too.
