NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Carlos Ghosn, President and CEO of Nissan Motor Co. said today that Nissan and the State of Tennessee and the Tennessee Valley Authority are forming a partnership to promote zero emission vehicles during a building dedication ceremony in Franklin, Tenn...
Ghosn said again Tuesday that Nissan and its alliance partner, Renault SA, are committed to becoming global leaders in zero-emission vehicles, which includes both electric vehicles and fuel-cell vehicles.
Ghosn said research into electric vehicles must be done in different countries to be able to adapt the batteries and technology to accommodate the different driving habits of people and to match those needs with the infrastructure in those markets.
