Hi all,

I'm new here so forgive me if this is the wrong place for this:

Does anyone know of an instantaneous fuel consumption display that would work in my '94 Accord LX?

So far this question has stumped my mechanic and the parts guy at the local Pep Boys, and a bunch of Googling hasn't turned anything up. I tried the ScanGauge site and it says its Accord compatibility starts with the '95 V6 Accord.

Thanks for any pointers. My 20-mile round trip to work has me feeling guilty about my carbon footprint.

Andy

P.S. This site is great!

Search SuperMID at this site. There is a guy that them for the pre-ODBII cars.

Yoshi is the guys username here.

There is a possibility there might be an OBDII plug under the dash, glove compartment, or under the hood....do you know what an OBDII plug looks like?

Thanks for the tips.

I just Google-imaged obdii connectors to see what they look like, then spent a few minutes searching in the '94 Accord with my head under the dash, hood, etc. Pulled ashtray, tried to peer behind glovebox. If it has such a connector, it's well-hidden. Drat.

It might be worthwile to ask a local Honda dealer if they can do diagonistics on your 94. If they can, it means it probably has an OBDII socket.
