Hi All:

___I am giving a clinic to a local WI resident this coming Sunday who owns an 01 Saturn SL w/ an Auto. Anybody know if it is flat towable for FAS'ing concerns?

___Good Luck

Wayne:

Check out the Dinghy Guides here (http://www.motorhomemagazine.com/).

I can only find back to 2002, and it doesn't list low-speed FAS capable (My Civic is FAS-able to 35mph) but it's fairly good.

Hi WH:

___Thanks for the link! I see the 02 w/ Auto’s are and will check the 01’s manual to be sure but just wanted a heads up is all.

___Good Luck and thanks again!

Hi All:

___Just finished up with Sue’s clinic. Baseline on the murderous row in her 01 Saturn SL w/ Auto was 20.5 mpg’s, final exam, 33.5 mpg. Not a bad increase but traffic in the 3 malls was really packed. On the clinic section of 40% country, 40% highway and 20% city, she pulled a 41.x. Not great but considering the heavy traffic, I guess it wasn’t too bad …

___Good Luck

I'm having trouble getting 33mpg with the SL2.

But yes, it's flat towable because the oil-pump in the transmission operates while being towed.
