Just an FYI for other Insight owners My recently acquired Insight had a dying 12v that I replaced this weekend. My daily average since then has gone from ~62mpg to 67! Yes, I know it's not record breaking FE but I just started learning :)
This increase was seen even though my commutes have not been the best (I had to avoid a Mustang trying to crash into me, I've been forced to come to complete stops an steep uphills, etc.)
It's amazing how sensitive these cars are to small variables.
