Chuck 03-05-2008, 08:53 AM What could happen to a tailgater. :D
Some language, not recommending anyone to enact this on the road. ;)

JusBringIt 03-05-2008, 09:42 AM ROFLMAO!!!! that was the best!! i've gotten flipped off by a guy who cut me off while I was coasting, I tried maintaining a speed where my gear ratio would benefit me the most for the type of road I was on, little did he know he was helping me!!
vtec-e 03-05-2008, 10:39 AM That made me laugh so hard! They say laughter is the best medicine so i feel much better now. Thank you! I was tailgated by a guy this morning while coming home from work and he passed me at full throttle only then to get in front, brake to bring his speed back to 100kph
(i was doing 90kph) and i got a nice draft for the last km into Slane where i sat behind him at the lights. He had the tunes pumping, car idling (obviously, you're a freak if you turn it off!)
while i sat there with everything off for nearly 2 mins. I was so close to flashing my lights to give him a wave but i guess he wouldn't have got it. Ah well.

Chuck 03-05-2008, 01:41 PM Some of you may not have been able to turn up the volumn on the video, but the last part was a hoot!
After the tailgater is pulled out of his car, he gets lectured at gunpoint..."Are you going to tell me you wern't tailgating!? Do you know how many $@#$@# car lengths it takes to stop a car at 35mph?! SIX SECONDS!!!...106 %%@#$ feet per second!!!! 1134 people are killed every year by @#$#@ tailgaters like you! Get your Driver's Manual out and READ THE @#$#@!!!"
Wonder if any of us got that upset just missing a 100mpg segment? :D
koreberg 03-05-2008, 02:22 PM thats hillarious.
Maybe those people with the led signs in their cars, should scroll an excert from their local drivers manul, about tailgating.
Chuck 03-05-2008, 07:29 PM Not for sure, but the footage may be from Lost Highway (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_Highway).
-mr. bill 03-05-2008, 08:02 PM Robbert Loggia driving?
Balthazar Getty in the passenger seat?
Generic goons in the back seat.
Yeah, that's almost certainly David Lynch's Lost Highway.

Well I am 100% sure it is. However I still don't have a god ****ed clue in hell what that movie is about. Sorry to swear, but I've seen it a few times and can't figure it out.
Hi Chuck:
___That was an excellent vid!!!
___Bomber, that was a gangster (Robert Loggia) and his clan getting tailgated and they don’t take the finger for an answer I guess ;)
___Good Luck

Nah I know that. I meant I've seen the full movie several times and can't get it all figured out.
We're sorry, this video is no longer available.
:(
hobbit 03-22-2008, 12:00 AM Maybe its youtube tag changed? Or did it get pwnd and yoinked
by leftlanedrivers.org?
.
Fortunately, I did get to pull it down and see it last night
and see why Delta gave me that dubious, albeit hilarious,
mention...

Chuck 03-22-2008, 12:08 AM Video still works for me, although with ActiveX for messed up, it's amazing my computer works at all.
I wish every police department had an Aggressive Driver's Division that operated something like this...I forgot, they can't use waterboarding. :D
fitmpg 03-27-2008, 07:25 PM Most excellent. Love it. I'll fantasize this is me the next time I have an a-hole on my tailgate.

Nanci 07-08-2008, 04:27 PM Digging up an old thread BECAUSE I had my first major tailgater today. He stuck right behind me for nearly ten miles and two turns, on a two lane road with multiple nice passing zones, at 6AM, almost no oncoming traffic. Flashing his lights and everything. He kind of scared me- I was only going five under in a mixed 45/55 zone. After we drove past a cop, though, he suddenly pulled off the road, then back on a couple cars back. Anyway, next time I'll remember this.
swhoutx035 07-08-2008, 04:36 PM I wouldn't want to ruin my mpg, but I'm all for the pistol-whipping...
