Hi Dan:

___Although I could not find a post by Rick Reese about it, I am sure you can E-Mail him for the details of his own Insights throttle lock. Maybe one of the older posts in the YaHoo - Honda-Hybrid group has those same details?

___Here is an older post with a few scant details. I have used the throttle strap with middling success but that is not how you are going to use it from my understanding?

Does the '04 still not have cruise? (http://www.insightcentral.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1483&highlight=throttle+strap)

___Good Luck

Yes, I rigged up something yesterday and gave it a try. It worked OK but I found that I have better control with my foot. I read that some of the aftermarket cruise controls have an adjustment for how hard they work the throttle to hold the set speed. If I set the level to the lowest threshold then it might work better to DWL up hills. Im not in any hurry because I don't have a reason to go on the highway. I just had an idea and wanted to see if it would work.
