Howdy Folks!

My fairly recently aquired 2000 Insight has started talking back to me. Well, not really but it does "bing" at me sometimes when I open the door. I'd say about half the time I open the drivers door to get in, in the morning and in the evening, the car gives me one "bing", and I can't figure out why. It's the same sound as if I leave the lights on, but it does it only once.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I don't know the answer but I've heard that once with my car in the (less than a week!) time I've owned it. I'd like to know, too!

Mine does it if the key is in (and car off).
