I wonder how they came up with the 150 mpg figure, would that be averaged over a full tank of gas and full charge? If so, electric cars can claim infinite mpg... The 150 mpg title seems misleading, since you'll be adding a lot of electricity off the grid to achieve that.

Well the telsa roadster takes 2 cents a mile to operate.
Its not really a big expense.
