I have a SonicCare toothbrush like this - I highly recommend them.
Did have a problem with my first one - the NiMH batteries failed after six months. :(
One the second one I made sure to unplug it after it's fully charged, then let the battery almost fully deplete itself before recharging it again. Over a year later, it's going strong. :)
Of course, you can't expect a $80 product to be as sophisticated as a hybrid, so let's say I'm in a MIMA state of mind on my SonicCare. ;)
