View Full Version : Nobody is going to believe it until they see the pics!!!
Hi All:
___Mike Sirach sent me these via E-Mail today and I was literally shocked when I saw how the Japanese handle towing vehicles. I think you will be too ;)

WOW is all I can say. Yeah, we need big pickups to haul stuff around.. Yep ;)
Right Lane Cruiser 01-06-2008, 06:01 PM Yow!! That is crazy awesome! :D :D
jcp123 01-06-2008, 06:06 PM Man...I knew Gold Wing engines were good, but I'd never have tried to pull a car with 'em...

Cool stuff... started in Europe I think with a need to go between lanes.
Blake 01-06-2008, 06:16 PM ROTFL!!! Thats a great pic! Little motorcycle pulling a car AND a camper. :D
Awesome!!! Now all we need is some sort of smallish car for towing in the colder areas. I don't think anyone will be riding a cycle during the winter months here in Madison.
Chuck 01-06-2008, 08:29 PM Amazing!!!
Woops, there goes first gear!
ILAveo 01-06-2008, 11:57 PM It's stopping that I would worry about....
pumaman 01-07-2008, 11:29 AM It's stopping that I would worry about....
Exactly what I was thinking. Hope they don't do any tailgating!
HD883XL 01-08-2008, 10:52 AM Sure do like those photo's. Reminds me of a guy that bought a new 1965 Harley and towed his 14 ft. Thompson boat from Nigra Falls to Alaska and back.
vtec-e 01-08-2008, 11:38 AM Looks like those guys had Transformers on the brain when they thought of that!
psyshack 01-08-2008, 02:48 PM No way Im towing a car with a Gold Wing......
dobsont 02-13-2008, 02:49 PM It's stopping that I would worry about....
yeah, no doubt!
rweatherford 02-13-2008, 10:29 PM If you look at the pictures the tow dolly has disk brakes of it's own.
Audevourahn 03-08-2008, 11:36 PM I can't wait to email this to some friends of mine with trucks! The Japanese know how to roll!
JusBringIt 03-08-2008, 11:40 PM ok...so this makes a lot of things here irrelevant....a LOT! basically suv's and v8's are pointless....
Linda 03-09-2008, 10:01 PM I don't think anyone will be riding a cycle during the winter months here in Madison.
pdk, in my old neighborhood (Fitchburg -- about 20 or 30 seconds south of Madison) there was a guy rode his motorcycle to and from work every day -- snow, rain, wind. Swear. We all thought he was crazy. It needed a muffler, and every night at 11:30 you'd hear him drive by on his way home.
I moved out of that 'hood three years ago. I wonder if he managed to do it this winter, what with record-breaking snowfall and all that stuff...

This is exactly what I was thinking . . . this would take care of most towing needs in my area. If it has enough traction and torque it might even be able to pull a vehicle out of a ditch.
:D Kudos to the engineering team
93Hatch 03-14-2008, 08:04 AM Man...I knew Gold Wing engines were good, but I'd never have tried to pull a car with 'em...
Well, lets be realistic. Most people in Japan probably aren't driving Super Duty trucks either so this will work there. Until we get smarter about our transportation needs in this country that towing system is a dream.
Hi 93Hatch:
___Very good point.
