I just recieved a SGII for Christmas:woot: and I was wondering if it came with the new software upgrade(x-gauge?)? I didn't see it written anywhere on the outside of the package.

What should I look for when I plug it in?

All scangauges shipped from linear logic come preloaded with the newest firmware which includes the X-gauge feature.

If you want to make sure you have the newest firmware you can press MORE>MORE>MORE<VERSION from the home screen to see what firmware version you have. 3.14 and 3.15 is the newest versions. If you have a Prius then you need 3.15, otherwise 3.14 is functionally the same as 3.15 (minor fixes to make some X-Gauges work on the Prius is all that is different in 3.15)
